"How you think determines who you are."

To rise above the common  plane of living you need a little more determination than the average person.
Great people are just ordinary people with an extraordinary amount of determination. Success is achieved and maintained by those who keep trying. Go ahead- admit it; Today you may not be what you want to be, hope to be, or dream of becoming, but the one key to achieving your dream is determining not to quit.

To rise above the common plane of living you need a little more faith than the average person.
This world is a place of sorrow, confusion, and hurts. The person with that extra faith in God, others, and himself or herself will certainly rise above the crowd.

To rise above the common plane of living, you need a little more love than the average person.
The world is full of lonely individuals. People are surrounded by people, yet often feel alone. They need to be loved. In our society love can mean many things. We sing about it, read about it, try to find it, but we're really unsure of what love is. Love has hands to help others. It has feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see the hurts of the world. It has lips to encourage those in despair.

A successful person is one who takes the cold water dumped on his or her plans, heats it with enthusiasm, and manufactures the steam that helps him or her push ahead.

"Some men see things as they are and say, 'Why?"
"I dream of things that never were and say, 'Why not?"

Very often people fail to get involved in working and helping others, not because they lack the ability or willingness to do so, but because they lack the confidence and assurance that they can do the job.

The world says, " I have to see it to believe it."
The leader says, "I have to believe  it to see it."

Followers see the hard work they must endure in order to climb the mountain of success.
Leaders see the success of climbing the mountain of hard work.

The difference between success and failure is how we react after the fall.
Remember: the failure is not in the fall. The failure is in allowing our fall to keep us down and control our lives.

"One of the greatest days of your life will be the day when you discover your potential".

It's interesting to note that the 1936 Olympics records were the qualifying standards for the 1972 Olympics.

Success is choosing to enter the arena of action, determined to give yourself to the cause that will better humanity and last for eternity.

The way to the top is not "stepping on others" but "stooping to help others."

Problems are the great dividers between success and failure. How you handle them will determine on which side you'll live.

Most people are more comfortable with old problems than with new solutions.

Opportunities for success in this world are as great as we have the imagination to dream them,
but we can't see them when we're down on ourselves and the world...

Remember- the circumstances in which we find ourselves today are a direct reflection of the decisions we made yesterday.

Success is
Knowing a truth and accepting it;
Finding a need and filling it;
Facing a challenge and meeting it;
Losing a life and finding it;
Having a plan and following it;
Developing a talent and sharing it;
Going to heaven and knowing it.
